Biografia Marco Bocca - CEO

Marco ha iniziato la sua carriera a Passau (Germania) lavorando presso Ostbayrische Milchwerke Gmbh come Area Manager occupandosi dello sviluppo del business internazionale nei principali paesi europei.

Nel 1998 torna in Italia per lavorare in Ponti Spa (leader nella produzione di aceti e sottaceti) come Area Manager Internazionale.

Nel febbraio 2002 entra nel Gruppo Bolton (3,2 miliardi di euro di fatturato), nella divisione International con sede a Lugano (Svizzera) per occuparsi dello sviluppo internazionale dei principali marchi del gruppo (Rio Mare, Neutro Roberts, Smac, Omino Bianco e Wc Net) in alcuni Paesi europei.

Nel 2004 si trasferisce a Vienna per creare Bolton Austria GmbH, una filiale del gruppo, in qualità di Sales & Marketing Manager, per poi tornare nella sede International nel 2006 come Regional Manager con anche l’obiettivo di preparare il lancio di una nuova filiale in Romania.

Nel settembre 2011 accetta la sfida e rientra in Ponti Spa come Direttore Commerciale e Consigliere di Amministrazione con gli obiettivi di affiancare il management durante il passaggio generazionale in atto, elevare il livello di managerialità all’interno dell’azienda e di riorganizzare i team della divisione commerciale, marketing & trade marketing e il dipartimento International. Tra i vari successi ci sono l’apertura delle filiali in Francia e negli Stati Uniti.

Nel 2019 ha preso il timone della società di famiglia in qualità di CEO.

Biography Marco Bocca - CEO

Marco started his career in Passau (Germany) working at Ostbayrische Milchwerke Gmbh as Area Manager in charge of international business development in the main European countries.

In 1998 he returned to Italy to work at Ponti Spa (leader in the production of vinegars and pickles) as International Area Manager.

In February 2002, he joined the Bolton Group (€3.2 billion turnover), in the International division based in Lugano (Switzerland) to take care of the international development of the group’s main brands (Rio Mare, Neutro Roberts, Smac, Omino Bianco and Wc Net) in some European countries.

In 2004, he moved to Vienna to set up Bolton Austria GmbH, a subsidiary of the group, as Sales & Marketing Manager, before returning to the International headquarters in 2006 as Regional Manager with the aim of preparing the launch of a new subsidiary in Romania.

In September 2011, he accepted the challenge and returned to Ponti Spa as Sales & Marketing Director and Board Member with the objectives of supporting the company owners during the transition from their generation to the upcoming one, and in evolving the company towards a moderm multinational company. Among the various successes are the opening of subsidiaries in France and the United States.

In 2019, he took the helm of the family company as CEO.
